Levitate Music Festival Announces 2019 Lineup
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The ever evolving and greatly loved Levitate Music Festival is proud to announce the 2019 lineup for its seventh annual music festival happening July 12-14, 2019. Tedeschi Trucks Band, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Nightsweats, and Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, will be joined by Stick Figure, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Sublime with Rome, Michael Franti and Spearhead, SOJA, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Ripe, The Wood Brothers, and many more. A confirmed lineup is listed below.
Nominated as “Music Festival Of The Year” by Pollstar Magazine in 2017, Levitate Music Festival began as a 10 year anniversary celebration for locally beloved surf and skate shop, Levitate. The event’s authentic roots, unique lineups, and exceptional food and art continue to grow Levitate into one of the most loved and respected music & arts events in the region.
For the first time, Levitate is expanding to 3 days by way of adding a very special Friday night in 2019, featuring a half day of music on the main stage with gates opening at 4pm.
Festival attendees enjoy the homegrown feel and convenience of the event’s beach town location, with daily shuttles leaving from Boston, Providence, and area campgrounds. Levitate has successfully transformed the historic Marshfield Fairgrounds into a truly unique concert venue.
“Many factors have led to the decision to expand to three days,” said Levitate co-founder Jess Hassett. “Particularly the ability to feature more local artists, musicians, and vendors, and to continue to grow Levitate into a world class multi-day, multi-genre event.”
“Levitate is our love child of music and art born out of our surf shop here in Marshfield, MA,” adds co-founder Dan Hassett. “We’re honored to announce the lineup today and can’t wait to see so many new and familiar faces this summer. The festival continues to be about music and art at its core, which is something we’re very proud of. We’ll have a variety of healthy food options as well as amazing art vendors. Simply put, it’s going to be the biggest and best Levitate Festival we’ve had yet.”
A limited number of Early Bird General Admission passes go on-sale TODAY. 3 Day Tickets are $159 for General Admission and $369 for VIP. 2 Day Tickets are $129 for General Admission and $329 for VIP. VIP ticket packages include access to premiere shaded viewing areas at all stages; an open Island Creek Oyster bar; private beer and water areas; air conditioned restrooms with flush toilets; passed appetizers; premium parking; and accelerated entry/exit.
